Before entering Illinois schools, teacher candidates must clear a criminal backgound check and complete blood borne pathogens training.  The links below explain these two requirements.

Selection of Cooperating Teachers is based on the criteria described in the following document.

During the student teaching experience, candidate performance is evaluated by the cooperating teacher, the university supervisor, and the candidates themselves. The links below lead to the online CTE Common Student Teaching Evaluation forms.
