Logging onto the CTE Supervisor Portal

Note:  For best results, please use the following combination of operating systems and browsers:

              Windows machines:  Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater

              Apple OS 9 machines:  Netscape 7.0 or greater

              Apple OS X machines:  Safari

Instructions for Logging onto the CTE Supervisor Portal

To login to the Supervisor Portal:

1) Go to the following web address https://cte-s.ed.uiuc.edu/supervisorportal/

2) In the User Name box, type in your user name (should start with ed-cte-sup-????).

3) In the Password box, type in the password you selected when you set up your account.

4) Click on the Logon button.

5) The CTE Supervisor Portal should now be loaded in your browser.

Retrieving your User Name

Your user name should be in the following format: ed-cte-sup-####, where #### is replaced by a random number. To retrieve your user name do the following:

1)  Go to the CTE Home Page and click on the University Supervisor image in the Portal section at the bottom of the page.

 

2)  When the login page loads, click on the Forgot your username? link in the middle of the page under the User Name and Password boxes.

3)  When the COE External Account Management page loads, put your email address that CTE has on file with you in the Email Address box and click on the Submit button.

4)  You should receive an email within an hour.

Note: If you do not recieve an email message within an hour or you get a message that says "No accounts with your email were found.", please email ed-cte-techsupport@ad.uiuc.edu with your name, email address, and certification program you are associated with.

       

Retrieving your Password

To retrieve your password, do the following:

1)  Go to the CTE Home Page and click on the University Supervisor image in the Portal section at the bottom of the page.

 

2)  When the login page loads, click on the Forgot yourpassword? link in the middle of the page under the User Name and Password boxes.

3) Once the next page loads, click on the "College of Education External Accounts" link at the bottom of the page.

4)  When the COE External Account Management page loads, put your user name (should start with ed-cte-sup) in the COE External Accounts User Name box and click on the Submit button.

5)  When the next page loads, click on the "Reset Password and/or Unlock Account" button.

6)  When the next page loads, type in a new password in the "New Password" box and retype that same password in the "Retype New Password" box.

7) If your account is locked out, put a check mark in the "Unlock My Account" box.

8) Click on the "Submit This Form"  button.

9) You should receive an email within an hour with instructions on how to confirm your password change.

Note: If you do not recieve an email message within an hour or you get a message that says "The username ????? was not found in the College of Education External Users accounts.", please email ed-cte-techsupport@ad.uiuc.edu with your name, email address, and certification program you are associated with.
